Step foot in the historic fishing village of Steveston, where the fishing boats ebb and flow in the harbour and historic buildings line the streets. You’ll soon realize why it’s one of Richmond’s most popular destinations.

Don’t miss the West Dyke Recreational Trail, which runs along the city’s waterfront, offering up excellent views of the Southen Gulf Islands to the west, and the mountains to the north.

Richmond is home to two National Historic Sites of Canada that are worth a visit. The Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site was once BC’s biggest salmon cannery—don’t miss out on a guided tour. And Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site invites visitors to experience what life was like for the multicultural workers in the city’s fishing industry a century ago.

My name is Jonne from Finland. I`m participating to the tournament in 2021 with group called AC Beduins. We have planned to travel to Vancouver Richmond few days before the tournament will begin.
I was thinking is it possible to play golf there in Richmond or not? What is the weather like in Vancour at that time of year? Of course there is some things to notice before it is possible to play. There has to be golf sticks to rent and in my case it has to be left handed 🙂
Do you have some partner (some golf course in Richmond) who can arrange the tee time for me and the most important, let me play in the field?
This can be good way to spend time there in Richmond so thats why I`m asking this opportunity.
Hi Jonne! Yes it is possible, and the weather in Richmond and Vancouver is actually perfect for golf at that time of year. All of the courses in the area should have clubs available for you to rent. While we don’t currently have any partners, it may come down the road. You can find some courses just by searching for golf in Richmond, British Columbia, or if you need any further help, email Tyler at TBroderick@CARHAHockey.ca and I’ll be happy to help you out.
