Each team will be guaranteed three (3) games consisting of 3 stop time periods (12, 12, 15 minutes) plus the opportunity to advance to the playoffs.
Yes. We anticipate that there will be 1-2 Women’s Divisions based on skill levels of the registered teams
No. Teams do not have to qualify to play in the CARHA Hockey World Cup.
No. A player will only be allowed to play for one team in the tournament.
Yes. Each season CARHA Hockey provides teams and leagues with an all-inclusive membership for $25.00 per player. As part of the membership players receive hockey insurance coverage in the form of general liability and accidental medical and dental. Through this membership players are entitled to year-round insurance coverage and as a result are eligible to play in CARHA Hockey events without paying any additional insurance fees.
Non CARHA Hockey members are required to pay an additional fee to participate in the CARHA Hockey World Cup to cover the cost of the team insurance. However, the insurance coverage is extended beyond just the CARHA Hockey World Cup as it provides the team with coverage for the entire season.
All CARHA Hockey Member teams are covered on-ice during the 2023 CARHA Hockey World Cup under their current insurance coverage.
CARHA Hockey provides extended on-ice sport-accident insurance during the 2023 CARHA Hockey World Cup for all participants who are not members of CARHA Hockey and who are under the age of 85. Information on this coverage will be available closer to the event.

CARHA Hockey will post a complete list of registered teams and their home countries on the CARHA Hockey World Cup website three (3) months before the tournament.
Individual players whom are interested to enter the tournament can register as a spare when Team Registration opens.
A 2-man officiating crew will be in place for all round robin tournament games, however, for all semi-final and final games there will be a 3-man officiating system.

Yes, CARHA Hockey requires a $350 CDN deposit which is non-refundable dependent on tournament capacity.
All remaining monies are due October 31, 2022. Team spots are subject to availability after this date.
Yes, CARHA Hockey will help organize free exhibition games for teams but only upon request. Practice ice is available for traveling teams, but on a first-come, first-serve basis. Requests can be made to Kevin at KFerguson@carhahockey.ca.
Yes as long as you are attending the tournament as a player or team official on a registered team and the guidelines regarding placement are followed.
