In 2004, the CARHA Hockey World Cup returned to Ontario, but this time to the Nation’s Capital. Ottawa’s edition of the CARHA Hockey World Cup saw 126 teams from 9 countries come together to enjoy Canada’s national sport, attracting a total of approximately 4,500 participants and 18,000 spectators respectively. The tournament generated a reported economic impact of $15 million (Steam 1.0)!
