The Cup has been patiently waiting in Richmond, BC, to welcome teams from around the world for the largest international adult recreational hockey tournament! On Sunday, March 28, we kicked off our one year to the CARHA Hockey World Cup with a week-long celebration on our social channels and sneak peek of what's in store for 2022. Camaraderie and teamwork are what we're all about so players of all ages (19+) and skill levels can take part in the action. The week is full of great hockey, exciting events like our Opening and Closing Ceremonies, shopping excursions (check out Cyclone Taylor and McArthur Glen Outlet), Lulu Island Winery tours, daily activities in the Molson Hockey House (Athletes Village), and more! Plus, there’s also the beautiful sights of Richmond and the surrounding area that are not to be missed. Get ready to join us for a cold Molson Canadian at one of our favourite establishments.
Vancouver Canucks Alumni and Honorary Chair of the 2022 CARHA Hockey World Cup, Kirk MacLean, had a special message for all the men's and women's rec hockey teams from around the world who will be joining us in Richmond. Looking forward to getting back together with our hockey community! Our teams are eagerly preparing for the next edition of the CARHA Hockey World Cup. The RAF Aces from England recently won our contest with a look at their pre-tournament training. Check out the winning video.
Many thanks to all our great sponsors who make this event possible. And to the teams from 13 countries (and counting) who will be taking part!
Now, enjoy these special performances by the talented Brett Smith-Daniels and the Dueling Pianos! Both will be part of the great lineup of activities we have planned for our teams to enjoy in the Molson Hockey House next year.
