A Day in the Life in Richmond!

Ahead of the Molson Canadian CARHA Hockey World Cup, we want to continue to profile the City of Richmond so you know exactly what you can get up to the week of the tournament.

After departing from your hotel and grabbing some breakfast, you may want to see some sights!

The Larry Berg Flight Path Park is directly in line with the end of the south runway of the Vancouver Airport (YVR), making it a prime location for watching planes, having a picnic, or relaxing in the sun. There are plenty of great parks and nature walks in the Richmond area for a similar vibe!

After that, perhaps you want to get some shopping done before your next tournament game. McArthurGlen Designer Outlets are a great place to shop around while still enjoying the sun as they’re located outdoors, and you’ll get to watch planes fly overhead from here, too!

Your next stop might be the Richmond Olympic Oval, or Richmond Ice Centre for your next tournament game, and once you and your team get a big win, you'll need a drink and a bite to eat. Head to Steveston Fishing Village in Richmond for great food and drinks, and incredibly scenery overlooking the water! You can even extend the dinner into the night, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area to have a great time with your team and friends!
